The fare above is fixed for the journey itself. Costs outside our control are passed on at cost and agreed with you, so there's nothing hidden: Heathrow charges a drop-off fee that differs by terminal, and pickups from the airport's designated pickup points carry a parking charge — both are added to the fare. Distance and time also vary a little depending on which terminal you need.
What to know before you travel
- Book a little ahead for early flights. Heathrow check-in for long-haul often opens three hours before departure, and the A303/M3 can be slow at peak times — tell us your flight time and we'll work back to a sensible pickup, building in a buffer.
- Give us the correct flight number for arrivals. This is the single most useful thing you can do. The driver tracks your flight live rather than setting off too early — arriving too soon just runs up expensive airport parking. On landing the driver contacts you (please have a phone with internet to hand), and once you confirm you're through Customs and have collected your bags, the car heads to the pickup point. This keeps your airport pickup cost to a minimum.
- Tell us passengers, and how many bags and what size. So we can send a car big enough to fit everyone and everything in one vehicle. The more accurate you are, the smoother the pickup.
- Oversized luggage that won't fit in the boot can't travel in the cabin. Under passenger-safety guidelines, loose luggage in the passenger cabin isn't permitted — so if a case won't fit the boot, we'll need a larger vehicle. Please flag big or bulky items when you book so we send the right car first time.
- All terminals, departures or arrivals. Tell us the terminal (T2, T3, T4 or T5) when you book. Heathrow's drop-off fee and any pickup parking differ by terminal and are passed on at cost.
- Pay the easy way. Cash or bank transfer is preferred (it avoids the card processing fee), and card is fine too. The fare is agreed up front.
Salisbury to Heathrow — common questions
How much is a taxi from Salisbury to Heathrow?
Our fixed fare starts at £160 for 1–4 passengers and £195 for 5–8 passengers, covering all Heathrow terminals. Heathrow's own drop-off charge and any parking for an arrivals pickup are passed on at cost. For an exact quote for your date and party size, give us a call.
How long does the journey take?
Typically 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes for roughly 75 miles — a sat-nav estimate that depends on the time of day and traffic on the A303, M3 and around the airport, as well as anything unexpected like roadworks, closures or accidents. For flights we always build in a sensible buffer.
Do you cover all Heathrow terminals?
Yes — Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5, for both departures and arrivals. Just tell us the terminal when you book. Note that Heathrow's drop-off fee, and the parking charge at the designated pickup points for arrivals, differ from terminal to terminal — these are passed on at cost on top of the fixed fare.
What if my flight is delayed?
Give us the correct flight number and the driver tracks it live rather than setting off too early — arriving too soon only runs up expensive airport parking. When your flight lands the driver gets in touch (please have a phone with an internet connection to hand), and once you confirm you're through Customs and have your bags, the car heads to the pickup point. This keeps your pickup cost as low as possible. Please still let us know about any big change as early as you can.
How much luggage can I bring?
As much as fits safely in the vehicle's boot. Tell us the number and size of bags when you book so we send a car big enough. Oversized items that won't fit the boot can't be carried loose in the passenger cabin — that's a passenger-safety rule — so for lots of luggage or bulky items we'll arrange a larger vehicle.
Travelling with us — good to know
- Drop-off is quick by design. At the airport the driver usually has about 5–10 minutes to unload your bags. Beyond that, the airport applies extra charges (and can fine), so it helps to be ready to hop out promptly.
- Feeling car-sick? Tell the driver straight away. A quick heads-up means we can pull over in time. In the event of an incident inside the vehicle, a cleaning (fouling) charge of at least £100 applies — it covers professional valeting and the driver's lost work while the car is off the road being cleaned.
- No smoking, vaping, eating or drinking in the vehicle. It keeps every car fresh for the next passenger. Water is fine — it doesn't leave any residue if there's a spill.
