Salisbury to Southampton Docks taxi
A fixed-fare, pre-booked transfer to the Southampton cruise terminals — no meter, no surprises, and booked and confirmed by a real person. Perfect for embarkation day, with plenty of room for your cruise luggage.
The journey at a glance
Southampton is the UK's leading cruise port, with four passenger terminals — City, Ocean, Mayflower and Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) — spread around the waterfront. From Salisbury it's a short, mostly A36 run, so a cruise transfer is quick and stress-free. Tell us your ship and sailing and we'll drop you at the right terminal for your check-in window, with a car big enough for the whole party and all the cruise luggage in one go. The fare above is fixed for the journey; there are no hidden extras.
What to know before you sail
- Tell us the ship and terminal. The four terminals are a few minutes apart around the docks. Knowing your ship and sailing date means we drop you at the correct one for your boarding time — no wandering the port with your cases.
- Book to your check-in window, not the sailing time. Cruise lines give a staggered embarkation slot hours before departure. Give us that slot and we'll set a pickup that gets you there comfortably, with a buffer for traffic.
- Cruise luggage is bigger than airport luggage. Tell us how many cases and their size so we send a vehicle with the boot space to match — everyone and everything in one car.
- Oversized luggage that won't fit in the boot can't travel in the cabin. Under passenger-safety guidelines, loose luggage in the passenger cabin isn't permitted — so if a case won't fit the boot, we'll send a larger vehicle. Please flag big or bulky items when you book.
- Disembarkation pickups too. Coming home at the end of a cruise? Give us your ship and arrival morning and we'll be there for the terminal exit — give us a call to arrange the return.
- Pay the easy way. Cash or bank transfer is preferred (it avoids the card processing fee), and card is fine too. The fare is agreed up front.

Travelling with us — good to know
- Drop-off is quick by design. At the terminal the driver has a few minutes to unload your bags to the porters. It helps to be ready to hop out promptly so the drop-off zone keeps moving.
- Feeling car-sick? Tell the driver straight away. A quick heads-up means we can pull over in time. In the event of an incident inside the vehicle, a cleaning (fouling) charge of at least £100 applies — it covers professional valeting and the driver's lost work while the car is off the road.
- No smoking, vaping, eating or drinking in the vehicle. It keeps every car fresh for the next passenger. Water is fine.
