Gatwick is London's second-biggest airport and a common departure point for long-haul and holiday flights that Southampton doesn't cover. From Salisbury the run is mostly motorway — across on the M27, up the M3, then round the M25 to the airport — so it moves well outside peak times but can slow around the M25 and the Gatwick spur at busy periods. What to know before you travel
- Leave a real buffer for the M25. The last stretch round the M25 to Gatwick is the least predictable part of the trip. Tell us your flight time and we'll work back to a pickup with sensible slack built in — especially for morning departures.
- Tell us North or South terminal. The two terminals are linked but a few minutes apart. Knowing which you fly from means a clean drop-off with no last-minute dashing.
- Give us the correct flight number for arrivals. The driver tracks your flight live rather than setting off too early, so you're not paying for the car to wait. On landing the driver contacts you (please have a phone with internet to hand); once you're through and have your bags, the car comes to the pickup point.
- Tell us passengers, and how many bags and what size. So we send a car big enough to fit everyone and everything in one vehicle — the more accurate you are, the smoother the pickup.
- Oversized luggage that won't fit in the boot can't travel in the cabin. Under passenger-safety guidelines, loose luggage in the passenger cabin isn't permitted — so if a case won't fit the boot, we'll send a larger vehicle. Please flag big or bulky items when you book.
- Pay the easy way. Cash or bank transfer is preferred (it avoids the card processing fee), and card is fine too. The fare is agreed up front.

What if my flight is delayed?
Give us the correct flight number and the driver tracks it live rather than setting off too early. When your flight lands the driver gets in touch (please have a phone with an internet connection to hand), and once you confirm you're through and have your bags, the car heads to the pickup point. Please still let us know about any big change as early as you can.
Can you pick up very early or very late?
Yes — we run 24/7, so early-morning departures and late-night arrivals are no problem. Booking a little ahead for unsocial hours helps us guarantee a car for your exact time.
Travelling with us — good to know
- Drop-off is quick by design. At the airport the driver usually has a few minutes to unload your bags. Beyond that the airport applies extra charges, so it helps to be ready to hop out promptly.
- Feeling car-sick? Tell the driver straight away. A quick heads-up means we can pull over in time. In the event of an incident inside the vehicle, a cleaning (fouling) charge of at least £100 applies — it covers professional valeting and the driver's lost work while the car is off the road.
- No smoking, vaping, eating or drinking in the vehicle. It keeps every car fresh for the next passenger. Water is fine.
